В статье затрагивается исторический и генетический аспекты изучения «Песни о Нибелунгах», предлагается подробная панорама исследований, посвященных немецкому книжному эпосу. Большое внимание уделено анализу композиции, метрических особенностей стиха и стиля «Песни», а также описанию основных сюжетных блоков этого произведения средневековой словесности.
The paper examines historical and genetic aspects of the study of the Nibelungenlied and presents a wide spectrum of studies of the German literary epic. Special attention is paid to the analysis of composition, versifcation, and style of the Nibelungenlied and the description of the major plot components of this work of medieval literature.
